CONCLUSION

In conclusion , we would like to stress that this social engagement course has brought a good vibe

and a sense of satisfaction to each of us. Through this course, we were able develop the ability to

work together cohesively in a team and with society. Besides that, we could demonstrate good

communication skills with society. These skills especially the ASL Sign are really mesmerizing because it is something new to learn for all of us.. We learnt new things, gain knowledge and experience, gained confidence and mutual respect for each other. Finally, we are very satisfied and pleased with the results of our work and feel contented to be able to contribute back to the children of SKPK Shah Alam who were very co-operative, full of energy and appreciative.

The number of lessons we learnt through this experience are huge. Each and every one of us had obtained something personal that cannot be understood and learnt through books only. The student’s efforts, determination and cooperation made us wowed. They taught us life values such as give a smile to strangers, be independent, cultivate the culture of helping others and be positive. That was just a portion of what we had learnt. In return, we gave them love and care, ear to listen, shoulder to learn and also foster a better relationship among them. Hopefully our help can be utilized fully and can be a helping hand for the students in term of studying.

We are determined to continue doing volunteering service whenever we can, no matter big or small. This course has given us a platform to start and now we shall continue in the future, hopefully in a bigger scale. It can’t be denied we humans are so used to taking things and we rarely give back. We take everything for granted, only to consider our own needs and wants. When we start taking a look at what we can give back, that is when we develop ourselves as a whole. There’s where we mature, grow and transform ourselves into a better and worthy human being.
